Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive the development of high-quality, scalable Android applications that meet business and user needs.
- Define and uphold engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for mobile development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align mobile strategies with business goals.
- Optimize app performance, security, and user experience through code reviews and technical oversight.
- Stay updated on emerging Android technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure mobile solutions align with EROADâs long-term vision.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and modern Android development tools (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, etc.).
- Proven track record of delivering high-performance, scalable mobile applications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for mobile innovation and a commitment to engineering excellence.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
