As the IT Assistant Manager, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our IT systems, ensuring they align with the high standards of our guest experience. Responsibility
- Manage and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstations, ensuring 24/7 operational reliability.
- Oversee the implementation and support of property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems across multiple hotel locations.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and deploy technology solutions that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup systems, to protect sensitive guest and company data.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems, software, and hardware, ensuring high levels of digital literacy across the organization.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related projects, including system upgrades, hardware procurement, and software licensing.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or management, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, system security, and troubleshooting in a Windows/Linux environment.
- Experience with property management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and POS systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical staff.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
