Responsibility
- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.
- Implement and enforce IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor asset performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and disposals of end-of-life assets.
- Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and financial impact for management review.
- Support IT security initiatives by ensuring all assets meet compliance and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools and software (e.g., ServiceNow, Snipe-IT).
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and asset lifecycle management best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Certification in IT asset management (e.g., IAITAM, CITAM) is a plus.
