Responsibility
- Develop and implement IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure asset accountability and minimize risks.
- Ensure software license compliance and manage vendor relationships to optimize costs and service levels.
- Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to align asset management strategies with organizational goals.
- Monitor asset performance and utilization to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Lead training programs to educate staff on IT asset management protocols and software usage.
- Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making and budget planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools, software licensing, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CITAM, or similar are a plus.
