Responsibility
- Assist in the origination, structuring, and execution of investment banking transactions, including M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and advisory mandates.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence to support transaction execution and client recommendations.
- Prepare pitch books, financial models, and presentation materials for client meetings and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other stakeholders to enhance the firmâs reputation and deal flow.
- Support senior team members in negotiating deal terms and coordinating with external advisors, such as law firms and accounting firms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field for Associate level; 5+ years for Senior Associate.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Proven track record of executing transactions, including M&A, IPOs, or debt/equity offerings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in investment banking.
