Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records using digital or manual systems, conducting regular stock takes to prevent discrepancies.
- Organize and label stock in designated storage areas (warehouse, shelves, or bins) for easy retrieval and optimal space utilization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and error-free fulfillment to meet customer deadlines.
- Monitor stock levels and generate reports to highlight low inventory, expired items, or potential shortages for proactive replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline workflows and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols to maintain a secure and compliant warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in warehouse operations, inventory management, or storekeeping, preferably in manufacturing or logistics sectors.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Excel) and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy for tracking stock movements and reconciling discrepancies.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle goods (up to 25 kg) and work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) for coordinating with teams and vendors.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation is advantageous.
