In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory systems, compiling essential financial reports, and conducting regular stock audits. Responsibility
- Maintain and organize storage facilities to ensure optimal space utilization and easy accessibility of products.
- Monitor and verify inventory records for accuracy, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Compile and analyze balance, price, and cost reports to support financial and operational decision-making.
- Conduct weekly and monthly physical counts of all products to ensure stock levels match system records.
- Collaborate with the sales team to process orders, verify stock availability, and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses, damages, and stockouts.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and forecast demand.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in the retail or building materials industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and cost analysis is a plus.
