Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems and manual tracking methods.
- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, and placing purchase orders.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
- Generate reports on inventory turnover, purchasing trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the implementation of inventory management best practices and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or a similar administrative role (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor interactions.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset to ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
