Responsibility
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess or shortages.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including FIFO/LIFO methods, to ensure accuracy.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and update databases in real-time.
- Resolve inventory-related issues promptly and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
