As an Inventory Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control processes within our maintenance department. Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the inventory control processes for the maintenance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and adjustments, using inventory management software.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and avoid shortages or excesses.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to provide insights into usage patterns, trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in inventory management and the use of inventory management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within a maintenance or technical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and teams.
