Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
- Interpret and translate engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into precise drafts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project documentation.
- Conduct site visits or virtual inspections to verify measurements and gather field data when necessary.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM) and cost estimates for projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Draughtsman or in a similar role, preferably in digital engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint reading, and geometric dimensioning.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to produce error-free drawings.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
