Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on John Deere agricultural equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems to ensure equipment functionality.
- Conduct test runs and adjustments to verify proper operation after repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during all operations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics or apprentices as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably with agricultural or heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with John Deere machinery or similar agricultural equipment is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites if required.
- Certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is advantageous.
