Responsibility
- Conduct regular stock takes (stok opname) for kitchen and operational supplies, ensuring 100% accuracy in inventory records.
- Develop and maintain a digital inventory system to track usage, wastage, and reorder points for all kitchen ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with chefs and procurement teams to forecast demand, place orders, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Generate detailed inventory reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management review, highlighting discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and other best practices to minimize spoilage and optimize storage conditions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to verify deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate favorable terms where applicable.
- Assist in budget preparation by analyzing inventory costs and identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
- Train kitchen staff on proper inventory handling, documentation, and waste reduction techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in inventory management, stock control, or kitchen administration (F&B/hospitality industry preferred).
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and inventory management software (e.g., Zoho Inventory, Odoo, or custom ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in data and physical stock.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, hygiene protocols) and storage requirements for perishable goods.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays, as needed by operational demands.
- Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude and a passion for process improvement.
