Responsibility
- Perform invoice mapping to ensure accurate alignment between vendor invoices and internal inventory records.
- Review and analyze price variance reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage and maintain inventory data in Excel and Restaurant365, ensuring real-time accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement data validation processes to minimize errors and improve data quality.
- Generate and distribute inventory reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Automate repetitive data entry tasks using Excel macros or VBA scripts to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in the migration and integration of inventory data between systems, ensuring seamless transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in inventory management, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, macros).
- Hands-on experience with Restaurant365 or other inventory management software is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
