Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor inventory control programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
- Conduct regular audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and proposing corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to streamline inventory processes and improve workflows.
- Generate comprehensive reports on inventory performance, KPIs, and variances for management review.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, turnover, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track, update, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or supply chain analytics.
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP software) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Knowledge of lean inventory principles, Just-in-Time (JIT), or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
