Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using digital or manual tracking systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, labeling, and storing goods.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) safely and efficiently where required.
- Support cycle counting initiatives and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of FIFO/LIFO inventory methods and supply chain principles.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20-25 kg (where applicable).
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
