Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and shortages.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
- Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend cost-saving improvements.
- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and KPIs for management review.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) to enhance accuracy and automation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in inventory and logistics optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods (FIFO, LIFO, JIT) and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
