Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or shortages.
- Develop and maintain accurate inventory reports, including turnover ratios, stock aging, and demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align inventory strategies with business goals.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings through data-driven inventory management.
- Conduct regular audits to verify physical stock against system records and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory control processes, including cycle counting and ABC analysis.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track movements, adjustments, and valuations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory analysis, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot inventory issues.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with LIFO/FIFO inventory valuation methods is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a structured environment with tight deadlines.
