Responsibility
- Manage and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding intermodal shipments, tracking, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate freight movement.
- Process and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Monitor shipment progress, proactively addressing delays or issues to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records in logistics software (e.g., TMS) and generate reports for performance analysis.
- Provide real-time updates to clients on transit times, costs, and potential service adjustments.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Handle complaints professionally, implementing corrective actions to retain client trust.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer service within logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of intermodal logistics, including rail, trucking, and maritime operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset with a track record of resolving complex shipment issues.
- Familiarity with incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping standards is a plus.
- Bachelorās degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
