Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end SMSF compliance, including preparation and lodgment of SMSF annual returns.
- Provide technical advice on SMSF regulations and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMSF clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored SMSF solutions.
- Conduct audits and reviews of SMSF accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in SMSF legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of SMSF strategies for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all SMSF transactions and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SMSF accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SMSF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in SMSF or related accounting fields is a plus.
