Responsibility
- Execute interior design plans and specifications with precision, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
- Select and source high-quality materials, finishes, and furnishings, ensuring they meet design and budget specifications.
- Oversee the installation of interior elements, including flooring, wall treatments, cabinetry, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project specifications, material orders, and installation processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Technician, Carpenter, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues during installation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, designers, and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
