Responsibility
- Assist the lead interior designer in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Prepare and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material samples.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to support design implementation and quality control.
- Manage administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organizing design files, and tracking project progress.
- Research and source materials, furniture, and decor to align with design themes and client preferences.
- Assist in creating 3D renderings and digital presentations using design software.
- Provide support in client meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is a plus.
- Previous internship or work experience in interior design is advantageous.
