Responsibility
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and detailed 3D visualizations for various interior projects.
- Manage end-to-end project workflows from initial client consultation to final site inspection.
- Provide professional technical advice to clients regarding material selection, spatial planning, and interior finishes.
- Prepare comprehensive tender documentation, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate closely with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure design integrity during the construction phase.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in interior design, preferably within a commercial or residential firm.
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, building materials, and interior renovation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibility and technical accuracy.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
