Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior design projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure accuracy in project specifications.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project plans to determine scope and requirements.
- Source and evaluate supplier quotes to optimize project budgets.
- Track project expenses and adjust estimates as needed to maintain profitability.
- Present cost breakdowns to clients and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and local regulations in Bali.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role within the design/construction industry.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of local material suppliers and construction practices in Bali is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred.
