Responsibility
- Develop and refine 3D footwear designs using CAD software, ensuring alignment with technical packages, design rules, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with product designers and engineers to translate creative concepts into production-ready 3D models.
- Provide accurate grading for mass production, ensuring consistency across all sizes and styles.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot design-related challenges and ensure seamless transition from prototype to mass production.
- Maintain and update design documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and revision histories.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in footwear design and CAD development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall product quality and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD development, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 3D modeling, grading, and technical drawing for mass production.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about design challenges.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a plus.
