Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit).
- Collaborate closely with interior designers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise construction documents.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local building codes, and project specifications.
- Review and revise drafts based on feedback from senior designers, clients, or project managers.
- Prepare and organize drawing sets for client presentations, contractor bids, and construction phases.
- Assist in material selection and specification documentation to support design intent.
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for all project-related drawings and revisions.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, software tools, and drafting techniques to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in technical drafting for interior design or architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar CAD software; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and material specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, scalable drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with designers, clients, and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
