Responsibility
- Consult with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Develop creative and functional design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, material selection, and furniture layouts.
- Create detailed 2D/3D renderings, mood boards, and presentations to visualize design proposals for client approval.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design plans and adherence to project timelines.
- Source and procure high-quality furniture, fixtures, and dĂŠcor items that align with the clientâs vision and budget.
- Oversee project installations, conduct site visits, and provide on-site supervision to ensure design integrity and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, feedback sessions, and post-project follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) in interior design, architecture, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit, as well as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and build rapport with clients.
- Strong project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices in Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
