Responsibility
- Lead the creative direction for luxury jewellery collections, from concept to final product, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
- Develop and refine CAD models and technical drawings for high-end jewellery pieces, collaborating with artisans and manufacturers.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation, precision, and artistic excellence.
- Establish and maintain design SOPs, workflows, and quality control standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver collections on schedule without compromising quality.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for design differentiation.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and production teams to translate creative visions into feasible, high-quality products.
- Source and evaluate materials, gemstones, and manufacturing techniques to enhance design integrity and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in jewellery design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, or SolidWorks) and hand-sketching techniques for jewellery design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end, innovative jewellery designs and successful project leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, engraving, stone setting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Familiarity with luxury market trends, consumer preferences, and sustainable design practices is highly desirable.
