Responsibility
- Assist the engineering team in conducting time and motion studies to optimize cycle times.
- Actively participate in the planning and execution of process improvement projects.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of 6S initiatives across the facility.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of operational data to identify efficiency trends.
- Support daily operational tasks and provide administrative support to the engineering department.
- Document existing workflows and suggest innovative improvements to reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the roll-out of new manufacturing techniques.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in operations and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles or 6S is a significant advantage.
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to commit to the duration of the internship program.
