Responsibility
- Operate and monitor injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of moulding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to injection moulding processes, including material flow, temperature control, and cycle times.
- Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings (e.g., pressure, speed, temperature) to optimize production efficiency and product consistency.
- Document production data, including cycle times, material usage, and defect rates, for process improvement.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating injection moulding machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Educational background in SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent; higher qualifications in mechanical or plastic engineering are a plus.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting injection moulding machines and resolving production issues.
- Strong understanding of plastic materials, mould designs, and processing parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
