Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of final inspectors to ensure 100% compliance with quality standards before product shipment.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols, checklists, and SOPs to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct random and systematic quality audits on finished textile products, identifying defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production, design, and logistics teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Generate detailed inspection reports, including defect analysis, root cause identification, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate inspection team members to enhance their technical skills and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to international quality standards (e.g., ISO, AATCC) and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect rates, inspection turnaround time, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control within the textile, garment, or manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of textile quality standards, fabric defects, and inspection techniques (e.g., visual, dimensional, colorfastness).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AATCC, or other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., color spectrophotometers, fabric strength testers) and data analysis software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and process optimization.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
