Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a high-performing infrastructure engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions to support business growth.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of infrastructure systems through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Drive automation initiatives to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
