As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational integrity, performance, and scalability of our virtualized infrastructure. Responsibility
- Operate, manage, and maintain VMWare ESX, Nutanix AHV, and HCI environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize infrastructure solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role with a focus on virtualization.
- Hands-on experience with VMWare ESX, Nutanix AHV, and HCI technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, and server hardware.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
