Responsibility
- Perform system hardening and security benchmarks in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to design and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
- Document procedures, configurations, and incident responses for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, system administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security benchmarks (e.g., CIS, NIST) and best practices for system hardening.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, RHCE) are a plus.
