Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions tailored to industrial automation, process control, and data management systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate industrial requirements into scalable, high-performance applications.
- Integrate software with IoT devices, PLCs, and SCADA systems to enable real-time monitoring and control.
- Optimize existing systems for performance, security, and reliability in high-stakes industrial environments.
- Develop APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless data exchange between industrial equipment and enterprise systems.
- Implement data analytics and visualization tools to provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, design patterns).
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, edge computing) and evaluate their applicability to industrial use cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or automation sectors.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or C++ and frameworks like .NET, Spring, or Django.
- Experience with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus) and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems under pressure.
- Excellent English communication skills for collaborating with global teams.
- Bonus: Knowledge of real-time systems, embedded programming, or industrial cybersecurity.
