Responsibility
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
- Design and improve workflow layouts, material handling systems, and production schedules.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to model and predict process outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.
- Prepare and present reports on process performance, cost savings, and productivity gains to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering software, as well as data analysis tools like Excel or Minitab.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar are highly desirable.
