Responsibility

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
  • Design and improve workflow layouts, material handling systems, and production schedules.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to model and predict process outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all engineering activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on process performance, cost savings, and productivity gains to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering software, as well as data analysis tools like Excel or Minitab.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar are highly desirable.
