Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of indirect materials, services, and equipment to support manufacturing operations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in the procurement system.
- Support the implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
