Responsibility
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Lead sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze spend data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory compliance in procurement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
