As part of our Index Operations group, you will engage in the transformation and validation of complex financial data sets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, mitigate operational risks, and maintain the integrity of our index methodologies. Responsibility
- Execute end-to-end index production workflows, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial products.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues during the transformation process to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to refine operational procedures and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Perform daily reconciliation of index constituents and corporate action data.
- Participate in the implementation of process automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough post-production audits to identify and document potential risks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of index methodologies and procedural changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services, data operations, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and basic SQL knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively under tight daily deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with data reconciliation or financial database platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
