Responsibility
- Prepare and present high-quality, visually stunning meals for in-room dining, adhering to guests’ dietary preferences and special requests.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to design seasonal menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Ensure all dishes meet the villa’s luxury standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage kitchen operations for in-room service, including mise en place, cooking, and plating with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with butlers and service staff to ensure seamless delivery and timing of meals.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste while maintaining quality.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the villa’s offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook or chef in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine-dining establishment.
- Proven expertise in preparing international cuisines, with a focus on Asian and Western dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a high-end service environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with F&B and guest services teams.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by guest demand.
- Creative mindset with a passion for delivering personalized, memorable dining experiences.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
