Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) to the highest standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu recommendations.
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the café is well-organized and clean.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and efficient workspace.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first mindset.
