Based in one of Bali’s prime locations—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline import processes, conduct audits, and implement best practices. Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and monitor import compliance policies and procedures to align with local and international regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and trade laws.
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and legal teams to resolve compliance issues and mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in import/export laws, tariffs, and trade agreements, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and internal management.
  • Train and guide staff on compliance requirements and best practices for import operations.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or non-compliance issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of strategies to optimize import processes while maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in import compliance, customs brokerage, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international import/export regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance software or ERP systems.
  • Certification in Customs Compliance (e.g., CCS, CBP) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
