Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor import compliance policies and procedures to align with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and trade laws.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and legal teams to resolve compliance issues and mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on changes in import/export laws, tariffs, and trade agreements, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and internal management.
- Train and guide staff on compliance requirements and best practices for import operations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or non-compliance issues in a timely manner.
- Support the development of strategies to optimize import processes while maintaining compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in import compliance, customs brokerage, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international import/export regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance software or ERP systems.
- Certification in Customs Compliance (e.g., CCS, CBP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
