Responsibility

  • Coordinate and track inbound shipments from origin to delivery, ensuring timely clearance and distribution.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve documentation and compliance issues.
  • Monitor import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure adherence to local and international laws.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists) for accuracy.
  • Optimize inventory management by aligning import schedules with warehouse capacity and demand forecasts.
  • Conduct regular audits of import processes to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and performance metrics using ERP or logistics software.
  • Provide proactive updates to management on shipment status, delays, or potential risks.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in import operations, freight forwarding, or customs clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of incoterms, HS codes, and Indonesian import regulations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with ASEAN trade agreements and regional logistics networks is advantageous.
