Responsibility

  • Manage and coordinate the full cycle of import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and licensing requirements.
  • Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to expedite clearance processes.
  • Monitor shipment statuses and resolve any delays or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import-export transactions, costs, and inventory movements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and logistics providers to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry best practices to ensure operational compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import-export operations, customs clearance, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and international trade compliance (e.g., HS codes, Incoterms).
  • Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding, warehousing, and inventory management is a plus.
