Responsibility
- Manage and coordinate the full cycle of import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, tariffs, and licensing requirements.
- Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to expedite clearance processes.
- Monitor shipment statuses and resolve any delays or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all import-export transactions, costs, and inventory movements.
- Negotiate with suppliers, carriers, and logistics providers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry best practices to ensure operational compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import-export operations, customs clearance, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and international trade compliance (e.g., HS codes, Incoterms).
- Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, warehousing, and inventory management is a plus.
