Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end new model development process for IMC projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to align development activities with business goals.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to validate new model concepts and propose improvements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, timelines, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to source materials, tools, and technologies required for development.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design, manufacturing processes, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in new product development, automotive manufacturing, or project management within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex development projects from concept to production.
- Strong knowledge of automotive components, manufacturing processes, and quality control systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
