Responsibility
- Manage and administer user identities, roles, and access permissions in IAM systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD).
- Process access requests, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning/de-provisioning of user accounts.
- Monitor and audit access logs to detect and mitigate security risks or unauthorized activities.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce IAM policies and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members.
- Assist in the implementation of IAM best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).
- Document IAM processes, procedures, and user guides for internal reference.
- Stay updated on emerging IAM technologies and cybersecurity trends to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or IT support roles.
- Familiarity with IAM tools such as Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of security protocols, access controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator are a plus.
