In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in architecting, designing, and optimizing next-generation server platforms specifically tailored for hyperscale data centers. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver high-efficiency, reliable, and scalable hardware solutions that power modern cloud services. Our ideal candidate has a deep technical background in high-speed board design, server architecture, and ODM partner management.

Responsibility
- Design and develop server motherboards, system architectures, and high-speed electrical interfaces for hyperscale data centers.
- Conduct signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulations and board-level analyses.
- Collaborate with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to manage product development from design concept to mass production.
- Perform hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, system validation, and troubleshooting in lab environments.
- Define system-level specifications, component selection, and schematics capture using industry-standard CAD tools.
- Work closely with thermal, mechanical, and power engineers to optimize overall system design, efficiency, and airflow.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as PCIe Gen 5/6, DDR5, and advanced cooling systems, into future server designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of direct experience in high-speed digital circuit design or server motherboard design.
- Strong proficiency in PCB schematic capture and layout design tools, preferably Cadence Allegro and OrCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of x86 or ARM server architectures, chipset logic, and high-speed protocols (PCIe, SAS/SATA, DDR memory).
- Hands-on experience with advanced laboratory testing equipment, including high-speed oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a proven ability to collaborate with international, cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a track record of driving complex hardware designs from conception to high-volume manufacturing.
