Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, and ventilation units to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in commercial properties.
- Conduct inspections of building systems (e.g., air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers) and document findings for compliance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests with urgency and professionalism, minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with property managers and vendors to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and system installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service reports using digital tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and local regulations for handling refrigerants, electrical systems, and hazardous materials.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an HVAC or Maintenance Technician in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Certification in HVAC/R (e.g., EPA 608, local Indonesian equivalents) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration cycles, and building automation systems (BAS).
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, manifold gauges).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25 kg) and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are a plus.
