Are you a seasoned Human Resources professional with a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas or EPCC landscape? We are seeking a strategic HR Manager to lead our human capital initiatives in Pengerang, Johor. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind HR excellence within a high-stakes, fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
As the HR Manager, you will partner directly with the executive leadership of our Joint Venture (JV) entity to align talent strategies with ambitious business objectives. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that our workforce is empowered, compliant, and optimized for the unique demands of the energy and engineering sectors. Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with the business goals of the JV entity.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, focusing on specialized technical and engineering talent acquisition.
- Manage industrial relations, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and EPCC industry standards.
- Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and technical competency.
- Implement competitive compensation and benefits frameworks suitable for the Oil & Gas sector.
- Direct performance management processes and facilitate leadership development programs.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to management on all matters related to human capital and corporate culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HR management, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPCC, or heavy manufacturing.
- Deep working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and industrial relations practices.
- Proven ability to manage HR operations in a high-pressure, project-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a JV or multi-cultural setting.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in HRIS and data-driven reporting.
- Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly regarded.
