Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive background checks, including employment history, education verification, criminal records, and reference checks.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations related to background screening.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to assess candidate suitability based on investigation findings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all background investigation activities.
- Identify red flags or discrepancies in candidate information and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and implement standardized processes for background checks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in background investigation.
- Provide timely and clear reports on investigation results to support hiring decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or background investigation.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, data privacy regulations, and ethical screening practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret complex information.
- Proficient in using background check software and HR management systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with candidates, hiring managers, and third-party vendors.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
